The album title "Navigation to Nowhere" is inspired by the Wim Wenders film "Paris, Texas." This film quote, or rather our interpretation of it, is both literally and figuratively a metaphor for this album's theme. Figuratively because of its philosophical meaning, which refers to an unconscious destination, a way of looking at life. And literally because most of the songs were created from scratch, during our studio sessions. This contrasts with the largely prepared concepts of our first three albums.
This time, we produced together. New influences are explored, such as jazz and reggae, combined with parlando. We welcome bassist Martijn Figee. A new album with Lover to Lover originals, each song different yet familiar. Comfortable as a warm coat in winter.
